Hello, here is my story. A few months ago, I had surgery performed by Dr. Couturier for a complete rupture of the radial extensor ligaments in my wrist. These ligaments had sheared over time over screws that had been inserted a few years earlier following a wrist injury. I was left severely disabled by this ligament rupture, especially since I play the piano and music is very important in my life. My hand would drop, and I had lost all grip strength. The surgery was very complex. During my initial consultation, Dr. Couturier gave me an exceptional welcome—kindness, empathy, and extremely clear and detailed explanations. He was very generous with his time. I saw him again later with a CT scan, which confirmed that the screws needed to be removed. I went into the surgery with complete confidence. The atmosphere in the operating room was absolutely wonderful. From the stretcher bearers and nurses to the nursing assistants, everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. I noticed that the surgeon was extremely respectful of the medical staff, which isn't always the case. He explained each step of the procedure to me. He took his time, scheduling a sufficiently long operating slot for me given the complexity of the operation. My post-operative recovery was perfect. He had me undergo a pre-operative auriculotherapy session with his wife, who is highly skilled in this discipline. I think that thanks to this session, combined with Dr. Couturier's meticulous work and the atmosphere of trust that so strongly influences both my mental state and the body's healing process, my recovery was exceptional and virtually painless. Yet, I had already had four operations on this wrist and had really suffered. I was completely blown away. Not to mention the scar, which is worthy of a top-tier cosmetic surgeon and already invisible five months after the procedure. This is the message I wanted to share with you: I'm going back without hesitation in a month to have a thumb prosthesis fitted for grade 4 osteoarthritis. I'm going with complete confidence, as I felt so safe with this surgeon and all the staff. I had carpal tunnel surgery in February 2026 performed by Dr. Couturier. Dr. Couturier was very professional and thorough; he took a lot of time to explain what he was doing and what to expect afterward, including during my postoperative follow-up appointments after a rare cyst was discovered in the palm of my hand. He was very kind and a good listener. I highly recommend him.

I had surgery on my left thumb on March 26. Now I have a lovely, almost brand-new finger! I was very happy with the procedure: Dr. Couturier is very professional, yet calm and reassuring. I've known Dr. Couturier for over 25 years. He operated on my oldest son, who had injured his hand, and since he performed my carpal tunnel surgery, I've fully regained the use of my hand.
